okay okay...

so, its been a really really long time since i wrote one of these! but what with school, moving back home, trying to find a job, getting engaged, starting to plan my wedding...its mostly understandable, right? :) but anyways, for those of you that dont know, Zach and i got engaged on Christmas Eve!!!

I was at grandma and grandpa's hanging out while zach was finishing up work, and was told that he was going to head up to badger mountain to get some deer jerky from a friend that lives up there. and apparently he had to do it that day cuz nate was getting ready to leave. so, i didnt really want to go, but he said please! i really want some company...so we both headed up after he got off work. :) i was on my way home and called dad to tell him that we were going to be a little late to our family's christmas. and dad being dad, was REALLY excited about the prospect of deer jerky. ha ha. so zach came and picked me up and we headed up the hill. at one point, zach decided to pull off the road at a spot that overlooked the valley, saying, hey lets take some christmas pictures! so we got out, he set the camera on his tailgate and set the auto timer, ran over to me and took the picture. getting ready to take another one, he repeated the steps but this time, while i was looking at the camera, he ran back over to me, had gotten down on one knee, and pulled the ring out at the same time. :) needless to say, i was really excited and said yes. hehe.

So we've already gotten started on wedding plans. The date is set for May 29th at 6pm at the Cashmere Riverside Center. Since its a Friday, the time is later so that hopefully more people will be able to get off work and be able to come. ummm...im excited to go the briday premiere deal on saturday with Amy and hopefully get some more ideas, but really everything seems to be coming together pretty well. though, it is only the first month of planning. :) anyways, thats the latest update on that. I got offered my job back at Valley Tractor, so I'll be starting there again once business starts to pick up some as the season progresses. hopefully not too much longer. I'm thinking about waiting to start my online classes till this fall. seeing as how the spring classes will be going on at some of the busiest time of year for work and right towards the tail end of wedding planning. it'll just be easier to wait. so yeah, thats all i think!
